Trusted Since 1961
Before we called ourselves Moab Adventure Center, we were exploring canyons and winding down the Colorado River as Western River Expeditions. In 1961, these river trips were enough to satisfy the wanderers who came through Moab seeking camaraderie and adventure. In the early 2000s, the appeal of Moab’s dramatic landscape started to reach a wider audience than ever before. So we nodded our heads to the film industry, acknowledged their long love story with our unique terrain, and then expanded into Moab Adventure Center.
We are now proud to announce that once again, we are expanding by partnering with Rocky Mountaineer! If you are a Rocky Mountaineer guest, you can choose from any of Rocky Mountaineer's handpicked excursions, from rafting, hiking, and biking to off-road tours.

"Absolutely Amazing"
We did 3 tours with Moab Adventure Center and our experience was absolutely amazing! The whole operation was very professional, courteous, and friendly. We had an awesome time on the river with a fantastic river guide and BBQ lunch. We were blown away by the Hummer experience which was totally breathtaking. We also did the Arches National Park Sunset Discovery Tour which was fabulous. It was so wonderful to sit back and learn about this marvelous park while our guide shared interesting insights and took us on short walks to see some of the spectacular arches.
